We organised several spooky walks in Edinburgh that began with a pint (or two) in a historic pub, and ended in one or other of the city’s most haunted graveyards.
On our first PaaST we visited Greyfriar’s Cemetery, where we learned about the incredibly touching story of Greyfriar’s Bobby, and risked a knock of the door of the tomb of Bloody Mackenzie.
On our second PaaST we ventured to St Cuthber’s Graveyard, where we took a look at the watchtower designed to combat graverobbing, and explored the story of Bum, the one-legged dog whose statue can be found in among the graves.
Edinburgh is a fabulously spooky city, and we had an excellent time exploring some of the most haunted parts of it. We might do this again sometime. Cheers!
